Следует отметить, что за прошедшие 10 лет уровень потребления йода в Москве существенно увеличился. Так по данным работ 1993 — 1994 гг. медиана йодурии в Москве составляла 44−87 мкг/л, а распространенность зоба у детей школьного возраста — 9,6 — 11,8%.
