Наблюдаемое с середины XIX века нарастание тесно взаимосвязанных процессов глобальных изменений климата и биосферы является предметом пристальных исследований, и находится в фокусе внимания международных политических институтов, требуя выработки адекватных механизмов реагирования с целью обеспечения устойчивого развития экосистем различных уровней и человеческого сообщества.
