В группу изучаемых препаратов входили классические ноотропы, широко используемые сегодня для терапии деменций: пирацетам, винпоцетин и циннаризин. Кроме того в работе использовали также новый препарат ГВС-111, который является пептидным аналогом пирацетама и проходит сегодня преклинические испытания / ЭегесЗетп е! а!, 1995/.
