Химические методы борьбы имеют ряд ограничений. Во-первых, они небезопасны для человека и окружающей среды. Во-вторых, химические методы применяются, в основном, в тех случаях, когда вирусы передаются от растения к растению насекомыми-переносчиками, против которых и используются химические средства защиты растений.
