Выше уже упоминалось, что в опероне thrABC происходит перестановка генов. Аналогичные случаи характерны и для других оперонов. Так, гены гомосерин-ацетилтрансферазы (metX) и ацетилгомосерин-лиазы (metY) в разных геномах по-разному расположены друг относительно друга (рис. 18г).
