Создана репортерная конструкция GFP2 на основе зелёного флуоресцентного белка, позволяющая количественно оценивать интенсивность соматического гипермутирования на модели линии куриных В-лимфоцитов DT40. Показано, что отсутствие гипермутирования на хромосоме 15 курицы вне локуса легкой цепи иммуноглобулинов определяется отсутствием на хромосоме иных областей со сходной периодичностью.
