Уникальной способностью ЦД является образование комплексов включения «гость-хозяин», в которых полость циклодекстрина выступает в роли «хозяина» для широкого круга органических и неорганических молекул и ионов, образуя соединения за счет гидрофобного, дисперсионного взаимодействий и водородной связи.
