Параллельно был получен ответ на вопрос о том, какой механизм лежит в основе циклизации 18:2-окисей аллена. Если для 12,13-ЭОТ характерен механизм диполярной циклизации, осуществляющийся при анхимерном содействии р, у-двойной связи, то в случае 9ДО-ЭОД и 12,13-ЭОД, у которых отсутствует р//-двойная связь, возможен только предложенный нами механизм электроциклизации.
