Переломы, возникающие вследствие генерализованного ОП при РА, нередко приводят к инвалидизации и смерти больных. Наиболее неблагоприятными в отношении дальнейшего прогноза являются переломы проксимального отдела бедренной кости и компрессионные переломы позвонков грудного и поясничного отделов позвоночника.
