Важной характеристикой ОПЦ-агента является его активность в полимеризации, которая определяется величиной константы передачи СпРеакция передачи цепи на низкомолекулярный ОПЦ-агент или на полимерный ОПЦ-агент, введенный в полимеризацию другого мономера, оказывается сложным многоступенчатым процессом (реакция 2).
