Одной из важнейших и актуальных проблем современной биологии развития является выяснение механизмов активации и ингибирования мейоза в ооцитах животных. Основным подходом к решению этой проблемы является изучение механизмов внутриклеточной сигнализации в клетках при активации и ингибировании мейоза.
