В настоящее время успешно реализовано два способа повышения устойчивости к широкому спектру вирусов путем трансгенеза. Один из них заключается в переносе генов интерферон-индуцируемой 2'-5'-олигоаденилатной противовирусной системы млекопитающих (Truve et al., 1993; 1994; Honda et al., 2003).
