В качестве зондов для скрининга геномной и кДНК библиотек использовали меченные 32Р: кДНК, полученные на матрице поли (А)+РНК из хрусталика, кДНК-вставки исследуемых клонов, ПЦР-фрагменты (см. ниже) и олигонуклеотиды, полученные на автоматическом ДНК-синтезаторе (модель 380fcvApplied Biosystem).
