В связи с этим основной задачей исследователей остается разработка высокоэффективных ингибиторов АВС-транспортеров. Однако, достигнутые в настоящее время результаты являются весьма скромными, поскольку известные противоопухолевые препараты обладают низкой эффективностью и тканеспецифичностью и зачастую являются субстратами нескольких обратных транспортеров.
