Известно, что LT-энтеротоксины УПЭ имеют сходный механизм токсического эффекта на желудочно-кишечный тракт как человека, так и животных, к разряду основных клинических проявлений которого относят диарейный симптомокомплекс на фоне выраженной интоксикации организма.
