Introduction
All people have problem. Some of them have many problem, the others have one or two problem only. Young people have as many problems as the grown-ups. It is possible to solve some problems but sometimes we cannot solve this or that problem. The life of a teenager can be complicated sometimes. It is a difficult age and there are many problems on the way of becoming adults. For example, the choice of free-time activities, parent-child misunderstanding, the choice of future profession, dealing with the first love and so on. Everyone says that youth is probably the best time of our life. But it is also the most difficult time for making some very important decisions which will have influence on all our life. Our time is not the easiest for teenagers who are to find own place in the society, in life.
One more thing, teenagers can take on most of the rights and responsibilities of adulthood. Before this occurs, however, they go through the period of adolescence and most of them experience conflicts at that time. They change rapidly both physically and emotionally and they search self-identity as they grow up and become more independent.
All teenagers have their own views on their life and future. They often stay alone with their thoughts because nobody seems to understand them. Who can help us? How to behave ourselves in difficult situations? How can we protect our rights? How can we express ourselves? Let' try to find out it.
1. Teenager’s problems
1.1 Problems in school and problems with parents
One of the most common problems is the misunderstanding between teens and their parents. It has always been a problem but each generation becomes more difficult than the previous. But in our modern life there is often a lack of communication between parents and their children. Lack of the love and attention to children can make them unhappy. Teenagers think that they are old enough to have their own opinion, while their parents don’t take their opinion into account. It is not right. Adults should try to give more attention to their children especially at such a difficult age. [5]
Sometimes our parents don’t understand us. They don’t under-stand some problems and things which are very important in teens' life; for example, the lifestyles of young people, piercing, tattoos, drugs, relationship with friends and teachers. So sometimes teens can’t tell them about their private life. Some parents don’t want to understand modern views, ideals and system of values. Elderly people usually compare their childhood and youth with the present, and regard old times as better, always talking about «the good old days». The young people, on the other hand, tend to think their times as the best. Teens look at the world with fresh eyes. Everything is new, interesting to them. Sometimes they cannot solve their everyday problems. But they want to cope with them by themselves. So adults shouldn’t prevent them from making their own mistakes. People are said to become wiser with age. Sometimes it is true and sometimes it is not. I think that you can meet a wise man among the old as often as among the young. It is false that when old age wisdom has come, useless illusions have disappeared. Sometimes when we talk to adults, a monologue is a preferred form of expressing your ideas in such talks. That’s why some teens don’t like to talk to adults. I think that it’s in people’s nature to give advice. It seems to people that giving advice they can help somebody or put somebody on the right track. But if a person takes their advice and fails, he can blame an adult all of his life. Our parents have their own ideas and views that their children don’t share and understand. They think that their children won’t find their place in life. They often say that now teens are very difficult to socialize with teens. But children should settle all problems peacefully because they are their parents. They brought them up with loving care. And if children come to their parents for advice and help, they will do their best and help children to cope with problems and difficulties.
Teenagers also need more freedom of choice and less pressure. Sometimes we have different tastes. I like the proverb «There is no accounting for tastes. «For example, I go to the shops with my mother. She likes this dress but I like that one. My mother wants me to buy this dress. But I am sure, that dress is much to my taste.
In whole, I get on very well with my parents. Whenever I have problems with my friends or with or with my schoolwork, I know they are always there to listen and give advice. They have taught me a lot. They have got a lot of experience and they have always happy to share their knowledge with me. But sometimes my Mum and Dad seem to think I`m still a kid. When I go out with friends, I always have to be back home by ten o`clock and they call me on my mobile to check where I am. I have to ask permission for almost everything I do. It doesn`t seem fair sometimes but I anyway love my parents very much and I think they are the kindest in the whole world.
The most important thing for teenagers is school. In fact, school is a model of the real life, the place, where kids learn not only how to square numbers or write correctly, but how to communicate with absolutely different people. At school children have to contact with their mates and teachers and this experience is what they have when entering the grown-up world.
Today such things as discrimination or intolerance at schools are not unusual. Some students find no common themes to discuss with their classmates; not everybody is interested, for example, in fashion news or modern gadgets. So they escape to their own world and often become outsiders. An incapability to contact with people around can lead to a lot of problems such as depression or neurosis and even they end up with suicide, which nowadays becomes, so to say, a normal way to die. Suicides among teenagers often happen as a result of their failures in private affairs. Although there are a lot of books, magazines and films dwelling on the subject, parting with a girlor boyfriend can be a serious trouble in the young age. Besides, most teens are maximalists and see things in black and white… but — who says we must be wise?! To be a teen means to learn how to live, and it’s impossible to make no mistakes on the way. [14]
1.2 Friendship and love
Another problem that young people face today concerns their relationship with their friends. As far as friendship is concerned, I think that a person can and should have a lot of friends. ΠΠ΅/she can be on good terms with the classmates. But at the same time there can be only two or three real friends. I believe that real friends will never betray each other. They will always understand and help each other. I agree that tolerance is the pledge of friendship. It is wonderful if a school friend will remain your friend for the rest of your life. But in this case everything depends on the person.
To me, a true friend is there for you no matter what. They don’t lie to you no matter what. They also keep their promises. Real friends can be a source of self-esteem, affection and good times. In times of despair, for example, true friends will offer hope. The right friends can help someone feel worthwhile. Friends are important to even happy people. We must be aware that real friendship is vital throughout life. But you can quickly discover real and good friends when you are down or when you require their assistance the most. Why? Because a real friend will not desert you when you are down, and will not turn against you in jealousy, for example, when you succeed.
It often happens that you meet a person and take a shine to them. I’m happy to have made some close friends while at school. We met on the day we first when to school and have been together ever after. We have now known each other for many years. We’ve spent a lot of time together, going out, visiting various music events, discussing our plans for the future which cemented our friendship. Our best childhood memories are associated with each other. We share the same interests and have a lot in common. If we do something together, it’s a child’s play. If we ever do something bad to each other, hurt or let down, we always try to make it up. 16]
My best friend is Yuliya Balbekova, 15 years old. She is funny, kind and beautiful. We are friends since ou childhood because we are cousins and neighbors. When we were younger we often fought but now we live in peace. Yulya is a very good friend, she knows and keeps all my secrets.
It’s a pity we are going our separate ways after finishing school. But I hope my friends will be there for me and we’ll keep in touch.
The problem of love is very important for young people. Today they fall in love when they reach the age of Romeo and Juliet. Romanticism and idealism very often accompany the love of the young. They can love deeply and passionately, they believe that their love will last forever. Unfortunately, often their hearts are broken. Young people are not always ready to have stable relations. In many cases they are too young and inexperienced to begin a family life. They have to continue their education, while family obligations will force them to make money. At the same time without good education it is not easy to find a good job.
1.3 Getting education
The famous proverb says: «Knowledge is power». Education makes a great figure in our society. It is handed down from generation to generation and involves different facts, experience and information. Through learning we get experience and knowledge accumulated by their ancestors. In most countries people have the right to education that is guaranteed by the Constitution of a country. When people finish the secondary school, they receive a secondary education certificate, offering them the opportunity to enter any higher education institution. For teenagers, finishing the 9th and 11th forms the problem of getting higher and professional education is very actual.
However, some people consider that it is only one of the ways to get a job in the future so they see no need in going to university. But some have strong doubts that they will obtain a really good job and will succeed without higher education.
I strongly believe that getting a higher education is very important to everybody. To my mind, higher education offers great opportunities and expands the horizons. Only a man of education can get a really good job. It is widely accepted that employers demand perfect knowledge and excellent skills from their employees. Education helps cultivate such skills and provides mental and moral development for people. As for me, I like communicating with an educated person who could share a lot of interesting thoughts and challenging ideas with me.
1.4 Earning money
Life used to be fun for 'teenagers'. They used to have money to spend, and free time to spend it in. They used to wear teenage clothes, and meet in teenage coffee bars and discos. Some of them still do. But for many young people, life is harder now. Jobs are difficult to find. There’s not so much money around. Things are more expensive, and it’s hard to find a place to live. Teachers say that students work harder than they used to. They are less interested in politics, and more interested in passing exams. They know that good exam results may get them better jobs. Most young people worry more about money than their parents did twenty years ago. They try to spend less and save more. They want to be able to get homes of their own one day.
I am sure that all teenagers want to have a lot of money to dress well, to go to the theatres, to visit foreign countries, to eat what they want, to buy books, CD. There is also a problem of having extra (pocket) money to go out with friends, to make presents to your friends. … How can we solve all these problems? In our countryside area we can work helping our parents at the harvesting campaign at our summer holidays, paste ads, work as shop assistant. I would like to present statistic information of youth employment corresponding to federal service of national statistic researching 2010.

1.5 Spending free time
Where can we go? What can we do if we have free time?
Leisure or free time is a period of time spent out of work and domestic activity. It is also the period of recreational time before or after compulsory activities such as eating and sleeping, going to work or running a business, attending school and doing homework or housework. Leisure time is the time when you can forget about day-to-day stress and stressful activities and relax. These activities can be our hobby.
I’d like to notice that there are two main ways of spending free time: the one is to do some physical activities (often outdoors), for example, football, swimming, hockey, skiing; and another way is to enjoy something relaxing at home or in special places: reading, watching TV, knitting, engaging in hand-madeIn my opinion there is a great number of different ways of time spending. It depends on person, on his culture, education, age, social level and personal tastes and preferences.
They say, «Health is above wealth». Thousands of people consider sports to be very helpful in gaining good health. That’s why every country pays much attention to developing sport. It is sport that helps to bring up physically strong, strong-willed, courageous and energetic people.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find time for going in for sports regularly. People have become too busy nowadays. There are quite a number of people who prefer watching sporting events rather than taking part in them. They are so-called sport fans. They pack stadiums during sport matches and competitions, they sit glued to the TV, and they are ready to give every moral support to their favorite sportsmen or teams.
In the meantime thousands of people devote their spare time to going in for sports. They play indoor and outdoor games: volleyball, basketball, table-tennis, hockey, law-tennis. The number of participants and spectators show that the most popular games are basketball, hockey and, of course, football. A lot of people go in for track-and-field athletics, cycling, boxing, wrestling, gymnastics and so on. 10]
Besides we can go out anywhere. The 20-th century brought great change into the theatre. Television, radio, cinema, video altered the course of the major performing arts and created the new ones. But still there are hundreds of musical comedy theatres, drama theatres, opera houses, puppet theatres, philharmonics and conservatoires where the audience is excited at the prospect of seeing a play and the actors are most encouraged by the warm reception. But first, I’d like to tell you some words about the theatre. It is a building where plays, operas or ballets are performed. Of course, it has a stage for the actors and an auditorium where the audience sits. The curtain usually separates the stage from the auditorium. As a rule, the curtain is dropped of lowered between the scenes or acts of a play. The most expensive seats are in the stalls, boxes and dress-circles. The seats in the balcony, pit and the upper circle are comparatively cheaper. An intricate system of lights illuminates the stage. While the curtain is down, the workers on the stage can change the scenery and prepare the stage for the next part of the performance. A play lives a long life it makes its appearance on the stage before the audience. It is a real part of art and its creation calls for inspiration, talent and artistic ingenuity. A playwright conceives an idea and after months of hard work his idea develops into the script of the play. And finally, when everything is ready and the rehearsal goes off without a hitch, a dress rehearsal is called. After some time the curtain rises, the play faces the audience on its first night. 6]
Or as a variant you can go to the cinema. There is no denying the fact that the cinema is an excellent vehicle of culture. Its possibilities are unlimited. In the earliest years of the cinema its power to show contemporary events was recognized and appreciated. More than anything else this unique quality secured popularity for the film as a new form of instruction and entertainment. That’s why the cinema is considered to be one of the best ways of spending their leisure time. There are a lot of different kinds of films: feature films, theatrical films, horror films, thriller films, popular science films, travelogues, mystery films, documentaries, animated cartoon films. Besides, the films may be color or black and white, full-length or short, sound or silent, dubbed in mother tongue, three-dimensional or wide-screen. We can see films either in the cinema or on the TV. I prefer feature films and amusing comedies. It’s a pity the life is so difficult nowadays and I want to relax a little, sometimes even to laugh. But at the same time I am fond of true-to-life films describing the life of the ordinary people, their feelings and problems. Such films move me deeply, they arouse the feelings of sympathy or hatred for the heroes. As a rule such films leave a deep and lasting impression upon me. A modern cinema program contains a newsreel which shows us pictures of important recent developments. It is usually shown before a feature film and it’s often worth seeing. Sometimes they show animated cartoon film at seeing which the audience is in a state of excitement from the beginning to the end. Movies are also shown on television and can be rented or purchased as a DVD-recorder. People in these countries are equipped with video recorders in their majority. Although people once feared that television would ruin movie industry, movie popularity has soared in recent years in these countries. Attending movies is a relatively inexpensive leisure time activity that is very popular. 6]
As I live in Luganskiy it is not far from Orlovskiy and there is only one cinema there. It takes me half an hour to get there. But that there is nowhere to go and there is nothing to do in her village. There are no clubs, museums, cinemas, parks there. If she wants to go to Moscow it’ll take her a lot of money. She can’t afford it I see films on television more frequently. But sometimes some of my schoolmates visit Volgodonsk to watch any interesting film or in Rostov to see a gig of famous group.
In conclusion of this part, I’d like to tell I like to pass my leisure time both in active and passive way. I really enjoy reading or watching films, because it’s always interesting, helpful and helps to relax, what is especially necessary after a long tiring day. Also I am fond of active sports, swimming, riding a bike from time to time, when it is possible. Sometimes you feel you need to escape from everyday worries and to do something no thought-provoking. In many cases I can’t let me doing anything very extraordinary, so I just go walking over long distances. It really helps to release the tension and refresh the mind. We would like to present statistic of time spending in our school.
Fig. 1
Anyway, in the life of any person there are periods of time when he feels extremely bored. It happens because this person doesn’t know what to do with his time and can’t find anything interesting to do, or because he doesn’t like what he is doing. Well, this problem has hundreds ways of solution. The simplest is to find something interesting to do. Here are some variants of activities to choose: — Just tidy up;
— Try new recipes; - Decide on making candles, knitting, cross snitching — in one word, create something new you can be proud of; - Don’t let online games dominate in your life; - Photography, drawing, painting, playing musical instruments are very special activities that you can do as a cure for boredom; - Communicate more with other interesting people; - Read something exiting, encouraging, or anything that will enrich your knowledge; - Join a health club or gum where you will be able to feel happy and keep fit; - Go out with you friends; - Set your aims and keep a diary.
The problem of free time is also very important. Where to go, what to do in free time. Every teen must find a hobby or just go in for sports. Not just wander in the street without an aim. We must not forget that it’s good to go to museums, theatres, cinemas and parks even if it is not popular.
Development of youth policy — one of the priorities of the state and society today. For the future of our country’s youth, and it is dependent on it, in which country we live years later.
We unfortunately live in a time when young people are widespread addiction, leading to the destruction of the identity of the man (drugs, alcohol). But the truth has long been known — man is capable of a lot, even on impossible. This means that the person is able to give up everything for the good of the devastating itself, if we turn our attention to what is more important — especially their own health. And for today’s youth in this case is simply necessary SPORTS.
Sport — a tool that allows you to develop physically and spiritually, reach new peaks and assert themselves in life. I think that the concept of «youth» and «sport «is not just linked, they exist in a single parallel.
To date, it is impossible not to notice that the sport is developing quite rapidly in Moscow and other major cities, but less developed in small cities and rural areas. It is necessary to pay attention to those skilled in the development of sports and youth policy.
To grow a decent youth in it, as in any business, you need to invest these funds and to date a lot. Sports need to make available to all — and urban youth and youth of small villages and hamlets. Need to attract investment in this area, to develop new forms of sporting activity — is not a matter of one year, but you must do it.
Older people often complain that «today's young people — all around idlers and parasites», but young people learn, work and find free time, which is simply nothing to do. Need to engage young people in sport, can not be limited to just physical education classes and sports clubs at the school, we need to expand the network of sports clubs, sections, associations, etc. After all, when people love what we do, he just did not have time for the accomplishment of actions for which then have to pay the rest of his life.
Begins development of each person, especially with the family — the parents, realizing that the child has the ability and interest in a sport, begin to carry it in the sports section. But the son or daughter after graduation entered the institute, often throwing sports, but it should not be. It is important to help the young person to move on, not to deviate from its target, and maybe in a few years, our country will be a new Olympic champion, and before it should put the soul more than a dozen people, united by common idea — the development of sport for young people and development of young people in sport.
And I want to believe that all this is done, and the sport becomes available, attractive and satisfying requests the most important part of modern society — the youth.
Most opinion polls young people engaged in sports, indicate that the sport generates an initial understanding of life, society and the world as such. It is the sport most colorful and pronounced the most important for modern society values such as equality of opportunity for success, success, striving to be the first to win not only rival, but also himself.
People passed the «School Sports», convinced that sport has helped them raise their self-confidence and opportunities, as well as skillfully take advantage of this. Sport teaches us to make sacrifices to achieve a goal. Lessons learned from the young athletes on the sports field, and then, as a rule, and help in life. Many athletes claim that sport has allowed them to become a person. Through sport implemented the principle of modern life — «rely on yourself.» This means that success depends primarily on the personal, individual qualities: ambition, initiative, diligence, patience, volitional skills.
Effectiveness of socialization through sports activity depends on how the values of sport coincide with the values of society and the individual.
Sport as a social factor as it plays an alternative model of modern culture, preserves and strengthens the essential mechanisms of social and cultural life and the transition to the subculture of the individual forms his identity as a socially competent. In addition, modern sport gives a person an opportunity to assess their attitude to its environment and through these relationships to evaluate their place in society. In most cases sport as a micro model of society, which generates a certain attitude and typical behavior. Moreover, American sociologists have concluded that modern sport accumulates values of society.
By working out the social values assigned to the individual, internalized as personal. Sports and contemporary Russian society have much in common: the spirit of initiative, confrontation and competition. In this regard, rightly called sport miniature life itself, where it is socialization. There are many challenges in the development of sport in our country. The most important of them is — the lack of sports facilities and their inaccessibility. 4] We have some problems but we are sure that we solve them properly. We make mistakes but only those who do nothing make no mistakes. I think that the young people in other countries have such problems too. The best way to solve them is to be yourself and be responsible for your life.
1.6 Taking drugs and smoking
The first serious and actual problem, which teens can face to is drug and tobacco addiction. Teens take drugs because they want to change something about their lives.
Here are some of the reasons young people have given for taking drugs:
To fit in
To escape or relax
To relieve boredom
To seem grown up
To rebel
To experiment
They think drugs are a solution. But eventually, the drugs become the problem.
Difficult as it may be to face one’s problems, the consequences of drug use are always worse than the problem one is trying to solve with them. The real answer is to get the facts and not to take drugs in the first place. 17]
During to the statistic of 2010 year:
Drugs were used once by 36 people from 246 young ones, aged from 15−24;
Drinking strong alcoholic drinks and beer 55 people from 250 asked;
When it comes to teen drug use, an ounce of prevention is worth so much more than a pound of cure. Follow these tips on preventing teen drug use and you will enjoy a drug-free family.
1. Be there for your teen when he needs to get out of a bad situation.
2. Get to know your teen’s friends and their parents on a first name basis.
3. Keep connected in the after school hours.
4. Talk to your teen often about drugs.
5. Get your teen involved in extra-curricular activities.
6. Ask questions when your teen makes plans to go out.
7. Be a role model.
8. Unite your family against drugs using strong family beliefs. 15]
Smoking is the best way to bad health too. Today half the men and a quarter of the women in the world smoke on the average.
Some people think that there is not much sense in refraining from smoking, since the inhabitants of many cities and even villages breathe air contaminated with industrial and automobile wastes. They are very wrong. Vehicle exhaust gases are harmful in themselves, but a smoking driver is subjected to something far more dangerous.
Take another example: according to WHO (World Health Organisation) figures, the sick rate is higher among smoking workers of the heavy engineering, chemical, ceramic, mining, building, cement and rubber industries.
In the past few years some measures have been taken to reduce smoking. There has been a growing awareness of the dangers of smoking throughout the world. The anti-smoking campaigns launched in a number of countries have brought about extensive public censure of this harmful habit and a decrease in the number of smokers among some groups of the population.
In our country the campaign to beat the cigarette habit has acquired a purposeful nature. Special legislative, medical and educational measures are being worked out.
Instructions forbid smoking among schoolchildren. Lessons on the harm of smoking have been included in courses of the anatomy, physiology and hygiene, the sale of cigarettes to minors is prohibited. Warnings against the harm of smoking are printed on packets of cigarette brands.
The ministries of railways, civil aviation, merchant marine and culture have worked out and now implement measures for regulating, limiting and restricting smoking in long-distance and suburban trains, planes, on sea vessels, in theatres, clubs, etc. 10]

2. Youth movements
2.1 Formal
Youth and youth movement over decades have become important factors in the life of the world and our country too. Numerous youth organizations have been formed since the Second World War, uniting people from all classes and sections of the population. These organizations develop because of the contribution of both full-time and part-time youth workers and a great number of volunteers.
In 1971, motivated by their vision of a green and peaceful world, a small team of activists set sail from Vancouver, Canada, in an old fishing boat. These activists, the founders of Greenpeace, believed a few individuals could make a difference.
Their mission was to «bear witness» to US underground nuclear testing at Amchitka, a tiny island off the West Coast of Alaska, which is one of the world’s most earthquake-prone regions. Amchitka was the last refuge for 3000 endangered sea otters, and home to bald eagles, peregrine falcons and other wildlife.
Even though their old boat, was intercepted before it got to Amchitka, the journey sparked a flurry of public interest. The US still detonated the bomb, but the voice of reason had been heard. Nuclear testing on Amchitka ended that same year, and the island was later declared a bird sanctuary.
Today, Greenpeace is an international ecological organization that has 2.8 million supporters worldwide, and national as well as regional offices in 41 countries. Its headquarters are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Greenpeace is a non-profit organization and nongovernmental. It unites people of different colours living in different continents and speaking different languages. The common mission of this organization is preserving life on the earth in its full variety.
Greenpeace does not accept donations from governments, corporations or political parties but relies on contributions from individual supporters and foundation grants. Greenpeace does not support any political party. Nevertheless, its members carry on a dialogue with all political forces and struggle for approving and passing laws for the welfare of our environment.
As a global organization, Greenpeace focuses on the most crucial worldwide threats to our planet’s biodiversity and environment. It campaigns to stop climate change, save the oceans, stop whaling, say no to genetic engineering, stop the nuclear threat, eliminate toxic chemicals.
The goal of Greenpeace is to expose environmental criminals, and to challenge government and corporations when they fail to live up to their mandate to safeguard our environment and our future.
In the USSR Greenpeace appeared in 1989 thanks to the funds from sales of the album «Greenpeace. Breakthrough (Greenpeace Breakthrough). The recording was attended by U2, Eurythmics, R.E.M., INXS, Sade, Bryan ferry and other rock stars. The Album in the world had a circulation of over 10 million copies all over the plate in Moscow entered the Guinness book of records. During the first hours after the plate was sold half a million copies. By may 15, 1989 the total number of albums sold reached one million. In July 1989, at a press conference on Board the Greenpeace ship „rainbow Warrior“, the Chairman of the Committee for environmental protection of the USSR Alexey Yablokov officially announced Greenpeace in the USSR, the first independent organization in the Soviet Union». In 2001, opened branch office in St. Petersburg. Directions of work in Greenpeace called projects.
In Russian branch of the act of 10 projects:
1. Energy project (for the abandonment of nuclear energy)
2. Forest project
3. Toxic project (against chemical pollution)
4. The project for the separate collection of waste
5. Volunteer project
6. The project «heritage»

2.2 Informal movements or subcultures
Today the life of many young people in Russia as well as in other countries of the world is influenced by popular culture. The young follow certain stereotypes that are imposed on them through TV, movies, and music. In their lifestyle they try to imitate the images of their idols. Other young people are sports and music fans. They follow their idols in their tours and support them. Unfortunately they are intolerant to those who don’t share their view. It’s a specific aspect of the youth subculture that can’t be ignored.
I think that subculture is the culture of those who are dissatisfied with their place in society. Different subcultures have their own beliefs, value systems, fashion, and favourite music. For example the subculture of Rastafairians was based on nostalgia for a lost world. They idealized Africa. Rastafairians were Afro-Caribbean immigrants in Britain. They began to wear distinctive clothes, camouflage jackets, large hats in the red, gold and green colours of Ethiopia and put their long, uncut hair in dreadlocks. They brought to us such types of music as ska, reggae and hip-hop. Many subcultures developed as a result of music fusion of black and white cultures.
There are other subcultures that are not connected with music, and have a specific ideology. For example skinheads, which wore heavy boots, jeans and braces and shave their hair or cut it very short. Skinheads dreamed about the revival of the traditional working class culture. Skinheads were identified with extreme right wing views. Among other subcultures are Hippies, Punks, Mods, Rockers, Ravers and many others. Generally they were young people with low self-respect, who did poorly at school. They opposed the traditional world in which they where settled as fiasco elements.
Subcultures are not that bad as they are thought to be. Teens want to show off. But at the same time a lot of teens think about changing the world to the best. Subcultures are for mostly for young and creative. Then, I am sure, teenagers become good citizens. Some who were punks became the main editors of famous newspapers. A subculture is a way of life. It is not a fan club, it is an attributive feature of a real life.
Mod. These people developed their own style distinct from others. A person has a college-style hair, a neat white shirt, a short jacket, or a short blazer jacket, and narrow trousers. The closes are Italian by choice. Pale face, plenty of make-up. Scooters are the preferred mean of transportation. He or she prefers soul music.
Punk — a young person who dressed in a shocking way to express his or her identity. He or she has brightly coloured hair and wears metal chains. The person is thought to rebel against society. The music is aggressive. They reject everything.
Rocker — a young person who wears a leather jacket, army boots and cowboy hat just to show off. He is associated with something rebellious.
Hippie. Some classify these types of people like drug users and rock and roll fans, since their behaviors differ from social norms. They don’t conform to society’s standards and support a liberal attitude and lifestyle. They always want to change the world to the best.
Hacker. They are the «wizards» of the computer community; people with a deep understanding how their computers work, and can do things with them that seem «magical». They do not protest against their parents.
Raver. These are the folks who used computer-made, synthesized music, and drugs to create massive all-nights dance parties in empty warehouses. They like to be in collective. They want to try out all sorts of options and are thought to be violent.
Goth. The members of this subculture wear the blackest black, with a lot of silver jewellery and have very black hair and looks as thin and pale as possible. The members gather together to read Bram Stocker and talk about being vampires and about the end the world.
Bicker. All persons who ride on 2 or sometimes 3 wheeled motorized vehicles and who identify themselves with a particular subculture.
Skinhead. They cut their hair shorted then others do. The majority of them are working class, patriotic, reggae and football fanatics, and very uninterested in politics. Most wear tight trousers and heave boots and are usually regarded as violent and aggressive. 3]
Conclusion
Our age is so strange. We know that we are on the way to become adults. But this way is so hard. Our age — is time of making a choice what we will be in future, what we want to do and how. School, lessons, games, clubs, homework.
Youth is the time when a person is trying to find his place in the world. And during this search he or she comes across different problems which are as important as those of the adults.
It seems to me that each of the expert should ask one day a question to himself: «What have I made in life?» It is necessary to decide, what we will do further? Whether we can achieve something in a life? «A bad beginning makes a bad ending» says very famous English proverb. And I think it is important to find the right way of life and have a purpose. Problem is the result of the activity of human mind. Only a simpleton can have no problems and be happy with everything. Nothing will come of nothing. Problems are inevitable when people do something. I think that without problems our life will be very boring. Moreover, when people start to cope with different problems they become stronger and more experienced. They harden like steel while overcoming problems. I do not think that life without problems will be better.
As you see it’s very difficult to be young nowadays as indeed it always was. But you only can be young ones and some wonderful things can happen to you only when you’re young. So it’s better to enjoy youth while it lasts.
