Пациенты с заболеваниями щитовидной железы, требующими хирургического лечения, составляют одну из наиболее многочисленных групп больных, госпитализируемых в отделения эндокринной хирургии, а также в общехирургические и онкологические стационары (Дедов И.И., 2008).
