What Luxury means? (Ρ€Π΅Ρ„Π΅Ρ€Π°Ρ‚, курсовая, Π΄ΠΈΠΏΠ»ΠΎΠΌ, ΠΊΠΎΠ½Ρ‚Ρ€ΠΎΠ»ΡŒΠ½Π°Ρ)

Besides, luxury just separates people into social groups. Therefore, it’s more important what kind of person you are than how rich you are. It is interesting that in American culture those luxury goods are called «Bling Bling» because of the sound that they let out but in my point of view they are useless.

F urthemore, when we talk about luxury, we immediately imagine splendid, huge house on the coast with many fine cars near by. P eople believe that luxury is when somebody can afford something special other people don’t have. I t can be the indicator of an individual’s level of success. B

ut luxury is not only such things as domestic help, expensive clothes and cars, exotic holidays as many people think. A small flat is a big luxury for homeless as well as hearing is luxury for deaf. W

e can give many examples, but it is clear that luxury is something valuable and this value is just different for different people. F or me luxury is something adding to my everyday life but not absolutely necessary. A

nd in my opinion, it mustn’t be the necessity but there are categories of people who often abuse their money to be distinguished by their expensive things just to make a splash. May be they are not successful or even clever, they can just waste their parents' money.

I prefer easier forms of luxury like pastime with my family. W e should hold in reverence.

B ut our world changes, our society changes and the idea of β€˜value for money' also changes. I n the terms of economics, a luxury good is a good for which demand increases more than proportionally as income rises, and is a contrast to a «necessity good», for which demand increases proportionally less than income. T

hat is to say this definition strictly separates the notion necessity from the concept luxury. O n top of everything, in the modern world many people link luxury with success. They have seen how celebrities try to emphasize this success and surround the luxury.

F inally, there are exotic holidays, expensive homes and cars, brand clothing. T he celebrities demonstrate this with pleasure. I

n my opinion, business people shouldn’t demonstrate their success and consistency. O f course, they have some luxury things, but first of all they are busy with their business ideas in the negotiations. Y

ou can’t say that success and luxury should go apart. I n everyone’s life could be luxuries, which are necessary. B ut he will not talk about them constantly. S

omeone buys splendid things, which he has sought long. I t will be a success personally his. T herefore, I think that success and luxury are two different concepts. A person can be successful and happy without luxury.

F or someone success means a family, hobby, favourite work. In a nutshell, I believe that luxury is made mostly to show up if we talk about luxury goods even if for some people it is a sign that they deal with a successful person and a good businessperson.
