Актуальность проблемы. Эпидемиологические исследования последних десятилетий показывают увеличение уровня заболеваемости бронхиальной астмой (БА) до 5−7% среди взрослого населения. В России количество больных составляет около 7 млн. человек (9% среди детей и 5% взрослых), тяжелой астмой страдают около 1 млн.
