Характеристики артерий, питающих две функционально разные мышцы, также различаются. Для артерий диафрагмы характерно более выраженное эндотелий-зависимое расслабление, поскольку в этих артериях эндотелий может быть адаптирован к хронически высокой скорости кровотока, а гладкая мышца обладает высокой чувствительностью к N0.
